About Me, About the Blog

Part of the “what do I make from this?” stash

Welcome!

My foray into the yarn world began two years ago when a friend put a crochet hook in my hand and taught me how to make a potholder using the single crochet stitch. I loved it. I am now a serial, binge (can I use those two words together, because it is soooo appropriate) crocheter. I always have multiple projects going at a time (current count is 4, all very different).

Sooo much yarn, sooo little time. I will be posting photos of the fabulous yarn I collect from small mostly local dyers and spinners (local to their location, not necessarily mine) and sharing the conversations I’ve had with these very cool folks. There will be a few travel tales as I set the stage for the yarn.

I hope you enjoy reading. I am including links to the places and people I talk about so you can delve further if your curiosity is peaked and/or if you are planning to travel to the places I mention.

And just so you know, I don’t get any compensation or push from any of the peeps or places I write about. And I don’t do anything with your email addresses other than send you the notifications about new posts.
